ABCs of SBIR/STTR Funding

June 27 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Free

Each year the federal SBIR/STTR programs provide $2.6 billion in non-dilutive grant and contract funding to qualified small businesses to advance and commercialize game-changing technologies. The process is complex with a steep learning curve, but the impact of receiving $millions in non-dilutive funding is compelling. This free two-hr. session, conducted by nationally recognized SBIR/STTR expert, Lisa Kurek, will cover program basics and help participants determine whether or not they should pursue this significant source of non-dilutive funding. Information covered will include:

  • An overview of what the SBIR/STTR programs fund
  • Eligibility requirements
  • How SBIR and STTR differ
  • How to select which of the 11 participating agencies is right for your technology
  • Key components of a competitive proposal
