This workshop will provide detailed instruction on developing competitive proposals for the National Institutes of Health’s SBIR/STTR program. In addition to up-to-date information on the SBIR/STTR programs, it covers:
- NIH SBIR/STTR program basics
- Review criteria and writing to meet the reviewers’ expectations
- How to approach each section of the proposal
- Budget and commercialization planning
- The submission process
- Formatting tips
The workshop is conducted by NIH expert, Andrea Johanson, PhD, of the SBIR/STTR consulting firm of BBCetc. Feedback from 15 years of attendees has overwhelmingly endorsed this session as a critical component in successful proposal development.
