NAVSEA/NAVAIR Webcast and SBIR/STTR Proposal Prep for DoD

This special DoD SBIR/STTR webcast event offers a unique opportunity to hear directly from NAVSEA and NAVAIR SBIR/STTR reps about how your innovative ideas or capabilities can be delivered to DoD. There will also be designated time for one on one meetings with a NAVSEA representative.

Becky Aistrup joined BBC Entrepreneurial Training & Consulting (BBCetc) as a Principal Consultant in 2012 and became a Managing Partner and co-owner in October 2016. Prior to joining BBC Entrepreneurial Training & Consulting in 2012, Becky was the SBIR/STTR Program Director for the Minnesota Science and Technology Authority. Becky’s professional background includes over 30 years of experience working within the medical, defense, aerospace, biotech, advanced materials and electronics industries, and consulting with technology companies on SBIR/STTR funding. Becky holds a B.A. degree in Chemistry from the University of Kansas, an M.B.A. in Marketing Management from the University of Minnesota.

Jerry Hollister is a BBCetc Principal Consultant, joining the company in 2017 with 30 years of leadership experience in government, higher education, non-profit and for-profit enterprises. After earning an engineering degree from the University of Michigan, he served as commissioned Naval Officer in the Civil Engineer Corps and a warranted Contracting Officer for the Dept. of Defense. Prior to joining BBCetc, Jerry was Chief Operating Officer for Michigan-based Niowave, a developer of superconducting electron accelerators, where he worked to build the successful start-up company from 2008-17. Jerry was instrumental in Niowave receiving $20 million in SBIR awards. Niowave was named the 2010 SBIR/STTR Small Business of the Year by the Dept. of Energy and, in 2016, was honored with the S.B.A.’s Tibbetts Award, which recognizes the best in SBIR achievement.  Before joining Niowave, Jerry served in a number of non-profit and educational roles following his honorable discharge from the Navy.

BBCetc Michigan Clients Attending Under Contract: Please note that if you register for this class and do not attend without 48 hr. notice, you will be charged a $25 administrative fee.

Refund Policy:  Refunds can be made up until 48 hrs. prior to training. No refunds after that time.
