SUMMARY:CMMC Regulations Review
DESCRIPTION:The final program rule for the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Program has been released for public review this fall\, introducing critical regulatory updates. \n  \nBBCetc\, in partnership with cybersecurity experts Totem Tech\, is offering a focused 1-hour session to review these CMMC changes\, which will impact all future Department of Defense (DoD) applicants. We strongly urge SBIR/STTR applicants to attend to ensure your proposal and business meet compliance standards. \n  \nThe purpose of CMMC is to verify that defense contractors are compliant with existing protections for federal contract information (FCI) and controlled unclassified information (CUI) and are protecting that information at a level commensurate with the risk from cybersecurity threats\, including advanced persistent threats. \n  \n  \nRegister Here\nNo cost to attend\, but registration is required \n  \n  \n  \n\n  \n\nTraining Provided By: \nTotem Tech \nTotem Technologies is a veteran minority owned small business staffed by seasoned cybersecurity experts with over a decade of experience securing and monitoring US Government and DoD IT systems. We specialize in DFARS / NIST 800-171 / CMMC compliance\, as well as DoD cybersecurity best practices. We are a small business DoD contractor that must adhere to the same cybersecurity requirements and guidelines that you do. \n  \n  \nTraining Sponsored By:\n Michigan’s SBIR/STTR Assistance Program\nThe Michigan SBIR/STTR Assistance Program provides SBIR/STTR training and proposal development services to technology companies with costs covered in whole or in part by the state. The program is funded by the Michigan Strategic Fund (MSF)\, administered by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) and managed by BBC Entrepreneurial Training & Consulting. \n  \n  \nDo you know about Michigan’s SBIR/STTR Assistance Program? \n  The Michigan SBIR/STTR Assistance Program provides SBIR/STTR training and proposal development services to technology companies with most costs covered by a state grant. The program is managed by BBCetc. \n  \n  \n  \n  \nFunds for this initiative were provided by the 21st Century Jobs Fund\, a MSF program designed to accelerate the growth and diversification of Michigan’s economy. \n \n  \n\n
