Kessler \n \nJason Kessler provides executive leadership and strategic oversight for NASA’s SBIR and STTR programs\, which invest more than $200 million annually in early-stage innovation. Each year\, these programs select over 550 technology projects\, partnering with more than 300 U.S. small businesses and entrepreneurs to advance capabilities critical to the nation’s space enterprise. \nBefore returning to NASA for his third tour\, Jason served as a Senior Advisor to the Global Knowledge Initiative (GKI)\, where he blended strategy\, design\, facilitation\, and coaching to create systems-focused learning experiences aimed at expanding the impact of science and technology in the developing world. \nJason has spent over 15 years at NASA\, including service from 2013 to 2016 as a Program Executive in the Office of the Chief Technologist.
