Please view our on-demand webinars before joining our “From the Sources’ Mouth” training sessions. \n  \n\n\nFeaturing: Tammi Neville\nTammi started with NIFA in October 2021 as a Program Specialist for the USDA Small Business Innovation and Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Programs. She serves to facilitate the overall program\, which administers Phase I and Phase II grants\, as well as serving on the Conservation of Natural Resources SBIR/STTR Topic Area team. \n  \nPrior to this position\, she spent much of her career as a Research Specialist with North Dakota State University (NDSU) where she worked in the Department of Animal Sciences coordinating and conducting research projects with faculty members and writing journal articles. In addition\, while at NDSU\, Tammi worked with Graduate Students at the Center for Writers\, helping them become more confidant writers. \n  \nShe holds B.S. and M.S. Degrees in Animal and Range Sciences from NDSU. Tammi pursued her M.S. degree after she saw that the research she conducted as an Undergraduate Student could benefit livestock producers. Within the SBIR/STTR programs\, she can combine her passion for supporting the agricultural industry with impacts to rural communities\, small and mid-size farms\, and animal agriculture. \n  \n  \n  \n\n  \nTraining Provided By: Michigan’s SBIR/STTR Assistance Program\nThe Michigan SBIR/STTR Assistance Program provides SBIR/STTR training and proposal development services to technology companies with costs covered in whole or in part by the state. The program is funded by the Michigan Strategic Fund (MSF)\, administered by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) and managed by BBC Entrepreneurial Training & Consulting. \n  \nDo you know about Michigan’s SBIR/STTR Assistance Program?  The Michigan SBIR/STTR Assistance Program provides SBIR/STTR training and proposal development services to technology companies with most costs covered by a state grant.
