DOD SBIR 2023.3/C topics are now in Pre-release. Here are some quick tips to get started:
- Read the Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for the topic you are applying to, as well as the DOD 2023.3/C BAA.
- Contact the technical point of contact early during pre-release
- Remember to check for amendments to the BAA once it is in open status.
- Remember your mandatory attachments!

On August 17, 2023 BBCetc hosted Tina Barnhill from the Office of the Secretary of Defense to discuss the DOD SBIR/STTR program. Tina provided an overview of the DOD SBIR/STTR program, along with special emphasis on the new requirement to disclose foreign ownership/foreign influence. ALL SBIR/STTR proposals submitted to DOD must include the new Foreign Ownership/Foreign Influence form. Contact your BBCetc Consultant for further information on how to complete and submit this form.
