Featuring: Nicole Fox

Nicole Fox leads the Army’s Applied Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Contested Logistics & Sustainment S&T Transition Broker Team and Army CATALYST Program under ASA(ALT). Previously, she served on the staff of the Army Research Office (ARO) in Durham, NC as ARO’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Program Manager. She has held this position since August 2011. Prior to assuming her ARO role, Ms. Fox served from 2001 through 2005 and again from 2010 through 2011 as the Program Specialist for the Army STTR program. She has received several awards including the Achievement Medal for Civilian Service, Commander’s Award for Civilian Service, the small Business Technology Council Champion of Small Business Technology Commercialization, and the Civilian Service Commendation Medal, 2014, 2018, 2019, and 2020 respectively.

The Michigan SBIR/STTR Assistance Program provides SBIR/STTR training and proposal development services to technology companies with costs covered in whole or in part by the state. The program is funded by the Michigan Strategic Fund (MSF), administered by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) and managed by BBC Entrepreneurial Training & Consulting.
