Meet the Presenter

Ben Shrager, Program Manager with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Technology Commercialization (OTC)

Ben Shrager is a Program Manager with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Technology Commercialization (OTC) where he leads efforts to reimagine DOE’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program. Prior to joining OTC, Ben spent over five years with DOE’s Office of Electricity (OE), Energy Storage Division, where he managed and oversaw projects to advance energy storage RD&D across the technology lifecycle. Ben has managed SBIR projects since 2020 and served as OE’s SBIR Portfolio Manager in 2025. Ben received his B.S. and M.S. from Case Western Reserve University in Systems & Control Engineering.
