Geri Aglipay
SBA Regional Administrator, SBA
U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Regional Administrator Geri Aglipay was named by the White House in February 2022 to oversee the delivery of the SBA’s programs and operations across Region V in the Great Lakes Midwest states of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin. She is the first Filipino American woman to be appointed to a regional position by any presidential administration and she is the principal representative of SBA Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman in the area.
During her career, RA Aglipay has led small business interests on anti-predatory lending policies and Community Reinvestment Act rules. She spearheaded the creation of a toolkit on sensible metrics to assess small business service impact in underserved areas, which was adapted nationwide.
